Organized and Funded Anonymously
Using an assumed name, a gmail account, a blocked phone, and non-connected cashier's checks, the organization and funding was all done completely anonymously. This was done to limit the potential for bias in the results.

Dr. Kay Cooksey, the endowed cryovac chair in Clemson University's packaging science department, was chosen to run the study. Dr. Cooksey and her staff were the perfect team because they are in the packaging field which makes permeance through thin films a major part of their expertise.
